My family is pictured on the Home page. Spending time with my husband and sons is my greatest joy--outside of work. I also enjoy miniature sculpting, oil/acrylic painting, and interior designing and styling. You can see my original work all throughout the Permalla Dental Care office.

Erica Farias-Garcia

I have been a dental assistant since 2005. I love interacting with people every day, and being able to make a difference in others’ lives by helping them feel better about their smiles and themselves is highly satisfying to me. I take pride in knowing I can help transform nervous, anxious, and fearful patients simply by the trust they have in me to be there for them. I will hold their hand, be their friend, and treat them as family. At a very young age, my mother instilled in me to always treat others the way I want to be treated myself. This, and caring deeply about each patient is what I do best.

I have lived in Petaluma since I was four years old, and I continue to live here now with my husband and two children. When I am not working, I love to bake and spend time with my family.

Danielle Wilson

My career in the dental field began when I was just fifteen years old, while working part-time as an administrative assistant at a periodontal office. Since then, I graduated high school and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Planning from Sonoma State University. I became a part of the Permalla Dental Care team when its doors first opened in 2010. Our office has evolved over the years, and I am proud of the outstanding care we continue to provide our patients each and every day.

I love helping others, and my goal is to ensure that every patient feels confident in our team and is thrilled with the care we provide. I am available for any questions or concerns you may have regarding your treatment planning, dental insurance, financial options, and beyond. I feel honored to be a small part of our patients’ lives and for the opportunity to help them improve their health and well-being.

Outside of work, I enjoy being home with my young daughter and my husband. During the summer months we often go camping in Sierra County, a tradition my husband and I have upheld for many years.

Marilyn Hernandez

I began working in the dental field in 2011, and I quickly became passionate about helping patients better understand the financial side of their dental care needs. Whether we are reviewing the workings of a patient’s dental insurance plan, or exploring alternative payment options, my goal is always to provide information and support in the best interest of the patient.

I really care about and believe in looking out for each other. I do this each day at Permalla Dental Care where the entire team is committed to providing full information in assisting patients in making educated decisions, at every step of the way to a healthy smile.

Raised in Sonoma County, I appreciate the outdoors. My son and I enjoy hiking, swimming, and most of all, spending time with the people we love.
